Ranking and fields #
The crypto ranking begins with CoinMarketCap's derivatives open-interest ordering and maps assets to verifiable contracts. Rank and available contracts can change; this is not a full-market directory. Price, 24-hour change, 24-hour derivatives volume, OI, and seven-day OI change describe different facts. Volume measures trades; OI measures outstanding contracts. Neither proves net capital inflow or direction. Missing 30-day spot volume is shown as missing, not zero.
Time and quality #
Read the row's data cutoff rather than treating page-open time as market time. The interface distinguishes ready, partial, updating, delayed, failed, no contract, and uncertain identity states. A partial chart keeps valid segments, while cumulative CVD after a gap is unavailable. Refreshing the table cannot invent missing history.
How to use it #
Resolve source and coverage concerns before comparing assets. Rank, price, and OI do not form a standalone trading signal. Use the live interface for current windows and quality; this guide does not promise a fixed refresh interval.
